Coast to Coast Train Route
Cross from the Pacific to the Caribbean by train through evergreen Panamanian countryside, retracing the gold transportation route of the 1800's. You'll be picked up early from your hotel and transferred to Corozal Station, ready to catch the train to Colón. Enjoy a light breakfast and take in the views on the one-hour journey, which takes you past Soberania National Park and Lake Gatun. On arrival, you'll explore San Lorenzo National Park and the ruins of San Lorenzo Fortress, before you head to Agua Clara Locks for lunch. Here you'll be able to see the daily operations of the lock and learn about the canal's expansion. In the afternoon you'll head back to your Panama City hotel by road.
